Have a nice day!

Being a dad is considered easy as you don’t have to give birth, but becoming a dad is not easy for males, either. If not physical traumas and issues, males undergo several emotional and stressful episodes. I have listed 5 things I’ve learned to love about being a dad.

  1. Watching myself turn from a husband to a father

Life has many events to change your life and to make you able to step on a new journey. Marriage is something like that. You become a husband to someone and after a few days your life changes its gear again and you become a father to a newborn. This is something that is absolutely life-changing for every person.

You watch your father throughout your childhood to be the support of the family and to help you with everything, take care of you, listening to your childish imaginations, running here and there with you on the back and shoulder. Now you have to do all these things and the most amazing thing is that you really like doing these for your child. This has become the most astounding event in my life as my life has transitioned from being just a husband to a lady to become the father of a child.

  1. Becoming the hero of my child

Being a father is the hardest thing in the world if you let it to be. Because it is the best thing that can happen to a man. When you see a child running around the house and stumbling onto something, you pick him up and give him the encouragement and you can see the belief in his eyes that you are there for him.

That is the feeling that has filled my heart with the joy and love that only a father can feel.

AS per the Focus on the Family website, being a dad makes meaningful impact to your children when you embrace a shared responsibility. THs mans that you attend to the children and routines, even when you have early morning commutes.

The article titled “A Father, A Husband, A Man,” notes that you become a hero to your children when you integrate with them during your free time. And this means sparing time to participate in their chores such as homework and sports.

The first time you understand that you have become a hero to someone and he is looking up to you for holding his hands, carrying him on your back and teaching him stuffs to do, that is when you will feel the change that has come into yourself.

Giving your child the trust that no matter what happens you are there for him and you will back him up that’s the feeling I have cherished so much about being a dad.

  1. Turning out to be an expert negotiator

When you become a dad your whole life changes. You start to build up certain qualities that you never knew you possessed. Doing everyday activities with your child without his crying is one huge of a task. This is the work of an expert negotiator. Being a fulltime dad has given me the opportunity to become an expert in negotiating. This had to happen when you have to make your child get to brush his teeth and go to bed instead of watching another episode of Mickey Mouse, you are bound to become an expert negotiator.

The daily activities a father has to do for his childlike making him eat his vegetables, stopping him from eating too much ice cream, holding him while running on to the streets and if you don’t do it correctly the child has a great weapon of crying to his full. This is what I love about being a father, the way I have turned out to become a negotiator.

  1. Being the supporting role to your child

When you become a father you know you have a person who looks up to you as if you are his hero. He looks up to you when he does any mischief and needs your support, he looks up to you when you teach him bicycling, playing baseball, swimming and lot of different other activities. This is because you are the support that he needs. You know that your child comes to you running with the expectation of being saved from the angry mom when he does any mischief and you have to support him no matter what he has done.

That’s the greatest feeling about being the supportive character in your child’s life. Even as his wingman you have to act on his wildest imaginations and play the roles that he wants you to play whether it is the one-eyed pirate or the fire breathing dragon. You forget every other thing in the world and who can’t love this.

  1. Watching a life growing in front of your eyes

The greatest thing about being a father is when you first pick up your child on your hands. It is a new fresh life on your hand and all on a sudden your whole life changes.

Now you are a father to a child and not just a husband or not just any other person. You will watch a full flesh person grow in front of you day by day. That’s the greatest thing I have learned to love about being a father.

Watching your child grow every day and learning new things. According to the Quora website, this is one of the most fascinating nostalgic, yet unbelievable episodes in your life.

The transition makes you awe at the marvel of the life. You start to comprehend the real mafic of life, while also doing a postmortem whether you succeeded or failed in parenting.

From the first time he sits up to the time he starts to run, you will feel that the time is going by very rapidly. That’s what happens with all the good things in the life. You must not miss any of the little things the first time your child does. Not only these little things but also every moment you will feel a life is growing in front of you.

  1. Every child is different

One of the most difficult situations for a new dad is that you are clueless about what to expect. Only after you set your eyes on your bundle of joy that you feel an emotional surge that you can’t comprehend.

As you nurture the new kid and learn ways of parenting, you think you are almost an expert.

So you get less stressed and prepared when kid number two comes along. And this is when you realize that all the lesson you learned through the upbringing of the first child doesn’t necessarily apply here.

Each kid is unique in their way. And so that approach you used previously won’t work on this one.

Probably the first kid was much calmer and reserved. The next one could turn out to be a little beast bustling with excess energy.

Hence, all that previous knowledge you acquired wouldn’t work to appease him. Thus each kid is uniquely special and requires specific parenting skills.

  1. You don’t know everything.

Despite being mature to be a father, your toddler may end up humbling you intellectually.

They have ways of asking rudimentary questions that seem not to have any concise answers. They assail your knowledge of life while, assuming that you have answers to all things in the world.

Maybe you don’t know and it’s difficult for you to say you don’t have an answer to the question. Still, they’ll ask questions that would make you wonder how in the world you haven’t considered such situations.

At least you can’t know everything even when you are a grandfather. As per an article in the National Library of Medicine titled “Parenting Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices.”

The article continues to state that the desired outcome for children is a critical driving feature in all parenting attitudes. But the steps taken and efforts to enhance early positive and supporting interactions don’t mean that you would attained your parenting aspiration.

Yet they would seek your knowledge with unparalleled attention just to make sure they learn about these difficult things from you.

Perhaps the question each parent has been assailed with is where their sibling came from. You are damned whether or not you provide the correct answer.

Some queries are embarrassing enough. But these questions just open your mind to how much out there you don’t know about your world.

In conclusion, we have discussed the content related to the five times I have loved being a dad. I hope you will consider these and connect to your own experiences or look forward to having your child one day.

Men and Sperm Quality

The quality of a man sperm determines almost everything that has to do with his ability to reproduce, a quality sperm according to the world health organization(WHO) “is at least 15 million sperm per milliliter of semen”. where there’s a shortage of this, it gives rise to a medical condition named "oligospermia”.

When a man’s sperm doesn’t have enough quality, there’s less of a chance the sperm will reach oven and fertilize the eggs, this situation can give rise to fertility problems.

For sperms to make a successful journey from the vagina moving on to the cervix and uterus and finally to the fallopian tubes, they have got to be healthy enough. When the sperm are not healthy enough, it will take a hard time to get your partner pregnant.

Here are ways you can take care of your sperm and also ensure its quality:

  1. Take care of your diet: A diet combination of fresh fruits and vegetables can improve the quality of your semen. Research has shown that a healthy diet gives rise to quality sperm production, foods rich in Zinc are also greatly advised, while Vitamin C and D supplements can be taken to also improve the quality of men semen.
  2. Regular exercise: while exercise is known to boost people's mind, it also helps your sperm quality. This is so as exercise helps in the correlation of blood, which is necessary for semen production. Similarly, research had shown that men who do regular exercise for at least three times per week for 1 hour demonstrated an increase in their sperm count and the volume of moving sperm, as well.
  3. It is time to stop stressing: In a recent study carried on 950 men, the research established that males who carried out more than two stressful events before commencing treatment for infertility were more inclined to have low sperm count and low sperm motility. So proper stress management and rest are essential to the quality of your sperm.

One Surprising Sperm-Killing Food To Avoid

Table Salt

Table salt is also among those foods that are considered useful for human health but are proving harmful. One of the greatest problems caused by white table salt is "hypertension" which is the root cause of many other diseases.

Although this salt is obtained after refining the rocks, yet it becomes harmful for your health due to prolonged usage. Nowadays, manufacturers are using many artificial ways to purify it of the minerals that are not ideal for human health.

They are replacing natural iodine with potassium iodide which threatens your health. It is also a proved fact that continuous use of table salt causes high blood pressure and heart diseases in you. This hypertension, high blood pressure, and heart diseases cause sexual problems like low sperm count.

This means that prolonged use of the harvested salt may lower your sperm count because of the toxic effects of bleaching and potassium iodide. Therefore, it is a better option to use natural salt as it is obtained from the rocks because iodine is less harmful than potassium iodide.
